The 2026 Students' Representative Council (University of Sydney) Annual Elections have concluded, and counting has been completed. I hereby declare the below candidates elected.
This notice shall be taken to be the Declaration of Final Results unless otherwise notified to candidates and updated on this page. Pending matters include submissions of expenditure reports, which may result in disqualification if unattended to.

Notice of Provisional Results of a Referendum on a Proposed Academic Boycott of Certain Israeli Institutions
Concurrently with the 2026 SRC Elections, a referendum was held on the following. question:
"The University must adopt an academic boycott policy against Israeli institutions complicit in apartheid and genocide and immediately end all exchange relationships with Israeli universities including Tel Aviv University, Technion and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The University must also end all research partnerships with weapons companies supplying Israel. The SRC will pursue this policy and support the struggle for Palestinian freedom."
This notice announces the provisional results of the referendum.
There were 4048 votes cast, of which 3833 were formal. Of these 3559 (92.85%) were for YES, and 274 (6.77%) for NO. As the number of formal votes exceeds 3000, and the proportion of yes votes exceeds 2/3, I provisionally declare the referendum successful. If no challenges to these results are received within 72 hours of this notice being posted, the results will subsequently be declared final.
