The University of Sydney First Nations Students' Collective will lead a student contingent to the 2024 Invasion Day protest and march in Sydney, on Gadigal Land.

Marching to: Yabun Festival, Victoria Park, Camperdown
We are joining The Blak Caucus in demanding:
1. The implementation of the recommendations of 1991 Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody (RCIADIC);
2. An end to forced child removals removals, and close youth detention centres;
3. Stop Aboriginal deaths in custody, and call on Safework and the DPP to prosecute;
4. Protect Aboriginal lands and waters from mining interests and climate devastation;
5. Call on NSW Premier Chris Minns, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Minister for Indigenous Australians Linda Burney to meet with families of deaths in custody;
6. International solidarity towards global liberation, and an end occupation everywhere;
7. Cut economic and diplomatic ties with Israel until occupied Palestine is free;
8. An end to housing and healthcare discrimination, establish and resource safe and accessible housing and health services for Aboriginal people, and;
9. Establish a government enquiry into corruption and breach of conduct during investigations into Indigenous issues.
