SRC END-OF-YEAR CLOSURE: The SRC is closed from 5pm Friday 20th December 2024 and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 7th January 2025. We will not be responding to any enquiries during this time, however, if you fill out our Caseworker Contact Form a caseworker will respond to you as soon as possible after we return. Please note that the University is closed during the same time as the SRC. These days do not count as working days when calculating University deadlines. If you are feeling sad or lonely and would like to speak to someone about the way you are feeling, a list of resources is available here.

The Welfare Action Group is an activist, left-wing group that organises around economic and social issues relevant to students. We are anti-capitalist and anti-colonial, and work to improve the conditions of students, and fight against oppressive systems against inequality and discrimination.
Our priorities include: workers (employed or not) rights and unionism, solidarity with, and fighting for First Nations justice, a campaign for safe and affordable housing for all, safety on campus, and the adequate provision of student services.
If organising and campaigning for these issues interests you, join the Welfare Action Group on Facebook! Anyone can join.
Email welfare.officers@usyd.src.edu.au or message the Facebook page if you have any questions
