All undergraduate students of the University of Sydney (those currently undertaking either an undergraduate degree or diploma, or those who are non-degree students) are eligible to vote.
All voters will receive an email to their University email address containing a unique and secure voting link from BigPulse, our online election platform, on the polling days 21–23 September 2021. The SRC is using an online election system this year because of exigent circumstances around COVID-19 and public health controls. For more information about BigPulse’s security safeguards, please see their website, including their voter verification protocol.
After voting opens, if you cannot find your voting link in your student email, please check your Spam or Junk folders and if that does not work, please contact the Electoral officer via: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Voters are able to vote in four separate ballots to elect the SRC President, Editors of Honi Soit, Representatives to Council, and Delegates to the National Union of Students. The voting system used in all ballots is similar to the Senate voting system: optional preferential voting, with both above the line ‘ticket’ voting and below the line voting in the Representatives and Delegates elections. Your electronic ballot will contain further information on how to validly submit your vote.
For further information or questions, please contact the Electoral Officer via: email@example.com.
